Grace is obsessed by travelling and has travelled extensively in her home country of Ireland and throughout Western Europe. She has also visited Asia, North America, and the Caribbean. 

An inveterate cartophile, she can't view a map without planning a trip. Her favourite travels involve good food and wine, gardens, experiencing the local culture, learning some of the language, and unusual places to stay. She has eaten dinner in Sacre Coeur, lived in a two-person gothic castle, hiked the Rockies, learnt traditional Greek woodcarving, picked grapes in Beaujolais, sailed on the Indian Ocean, and slept in a lighthouse on a remote island.
